It was my first experience in photography of a stranger. I was a little bit nervous because I didn`t know what the reaction would be.

Artwork Created for Your Family

Every portrait experience begins with a conversation.Once you're comfortable we're the right fit, we’ll meet in person to talk through your family, your home, and what you want these portraits to become. Together, we’ll design your session with intention—from who will be included, to wardrobe, to where and how your artwork will live. This is where your vision starts to take shape—not just as photographs, but as meaningful pieces created specifically for your family. Your session is designed to feel natural, relaxed, and guided every step of the way.Whether it’s a large family gathering or a quiet moment between generations, I’ll direct and refine each scene so it feels genuine—not stiff or overly posed. With larger groups especially, careful attention is given to flow, connection, and making sure everyone looks their best. The result is a collection of images that reflect not just how your family looks—but how it feels to be part of it.After your session, we’ll meet again to view your images together, and this is where everything comes to life.I’ll guide you through selecting your favorite portraits and help you design the pieces that best fit your home—whether that’s a statement wall portrait, a custom album, or a collection that tells the full story.Rather than leaving you to sort through files on your own, this is a fully guided experience so you can feel confident in what you choose and how it will be enjoyed for years to come.

Your Experience with Green Tree Frog Photography

I’ve been drawn to photography for as long as I can remember. What has always interested me most isn’t simply making a beautiful photograph, but capturing the emotion behind it—creating something in still form that says something about the people, relationships, and personalities in front of the camera.During a portrait session, I want people to relax, have fun, and be themselves. The best photographs often happen when everyone stops worrying about the camera and simply enjoys being together. As a husband, dad, and pet owner myself, I know how quickly life changes and how much the people and animals we love become part of our family’s story. My goal is to create portraits that preserve some of that story—artwork that feels personal now and becomes even more meaningful with time.

A girl in pink laughing in between branches of a flowering tree

Like all magnificent things, it’s very simple

No studio, no lights, no hardware. My niece just doing a hair flip outside in front of my open garage (to darken background) and shot fast (to stop the motion). Your best piece of photography equipment is your imagination!

Each photograph in the Fine Art Collection is available as professionally produced wall art, including framed artwork, canvas, and metal. Every piece is made to order, with a variety of sizes and finishes available to complement both the photograph and the space where it will be displayed. If you find an image you love, contact me with the title and an idea of its location, and I'll help you choose the size and presentation that works best for your home.
